Credit Authorship Statement Policy

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Design for Resilience in Architecture and Planning must include a transparent declaration of each author’s contributions. For this purpose, the journal adopts the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) framework. Authors should explicitly describe their roles in areas such as conceptualization, methodology, software development, validation, investigation, data analysis, resources, writing (original draft or review and editing), visualization, supervision, and project administration. Only individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the preparation and execution of the work qualify as authors. Individual contributions must be stated in a dedicated “Authorship Contribution Statement” section at the end of the article, and must also be indicated in the cover letter submitted with the manuscript. All authors must approve the final contribution statement. This practice aims to enhance transparency in research and ensure compliance with ethical standards of academic publishing.
